History System

  • Normally transport orders are kept in the database for 6 weeks after the last status update (delivered, invoiced, etc).
  • Six weeks after the last update it is possible to transfer orders to a history system.
Note: a shorter period is also possible.
  • The history system keeps the transport orders in the history database for one year at maximum.
Note: once orders are transfered to the history database, it's no longer possible to modify or update these orders.
  • The historical orders can be accessed from the active shipments list by selecting the 'period' option.
  • Users that want to have access to these historical orders need to have system trackhistory acticated in the user overview.

Reasons to keep a History System.

  • Depending on national legislation it could be necessary to store POD-invoices and electronic signatures for a longer period than six weeks after delivery and invoicing.
To store documents, you need access to the Document Server in the Cloud.
  • Ability of track and trace functionality for transport orders older than six weeks.
If you do not have a history system, contact your Cargo Ofice supplier or sent us a request by using your bug tracking system.
