Postcode Editor
About
- Some order entry templates use postcodes to fill in addresses automatically.
- The postcode editor application can be used for updating the postcode database with missing postcodes or incorrect values.

- This application is only available on request.
- Application can be found at:
- Backoffice -> Shipments -> Postcode Editor
Description
- 1. When opening the editor, check if a postcode is known.
- 2. If details for a postcode are unknown, fill in those details, see example for postcode 1111SS.
- Number from -> Number to, must be used for the house number range for which this postcode is used.
- Fill in the names for Street name and City exactly as you like them to appear in your application. In general this is with a capital at the beginning of the name.
- Press OK, when to add this new postcode.
- Press CANCEL, when to go back to the earlier screen.
- 3. If a postcode already exists, but is not updated with current values, then complete details of this postcode, see example for postcode 1966WM:
- Complete the house number range, these are the fields Number from (10) and Number to (18).
- Check Street name and City fields.
- Press OK, when to update this postcode.
- Press CANCEL, when to go back to the earlier screen.
