About Different Orderentry Templates

• There is no transport company alike, all most avery company needs a different template.
• Just to give you an idea, we listed some of the templates we made in the past below.
• Keep in mind, that when Cargo Office Programmers are requested to adjust a template, they have to ask for a contribution of their spent time.

Former default template

• This is the default template which most carriers are using as a starting point.
• This template is described in: OrderentryHowto

Courier template

• Inside this courier template specific fields are created for courier transport.
  • E.g.: Second addressline, numerous contact details, etc.
    A more modern styled version will be released soon.

Distribution template

• Inside this distribution template specific fields are created for distribution transport.
  • E.g.: Phone number, ahead informing, etc.
    A more modern styled version will be released soon.

FTL template

• Inside this FTL template specific fields are created for FTL transport.
  • E.g.: Goods code, Settled freightage, etc.
    A more modern styled version will be released soon.

LTL template

• Inside this LTL template specific fields are created for LTL transport.
  • E.g.: Type of trip, Reference, etc.
    A more modern styled version will be released soon.

Expedition template

• Inside this expedition template specific fields are created for expedition.
  • E.g.: Contact, Phone, Reference, customer email, volume, etc.

Tank template

• Inside this tank template specific fields are created for a tank transport.
  • E.g.: Load number, Goods code, Temperature controlled, celsius, etc.

Auto template

• Inside this auto template specific fields are created for auto transport.
  • E.g.: Model, Chassis number, etc.
• In general output is generated for 10 cars/motors per transport.

Air cargo template

• Inside this air cargo template specific fields are created for transportation of air cargo.
  • E.g.: IATA-code, AWB-number, volume, volume weight, etc.
• When transporting goods to/from airplanes specific fields could be requested by an airline carrier.

Boat template

• Inside this boat template specific fields are created for transportation of boat (vessel, reefer) cargo.
  • E.g.: Boat-number, boat-name, references, contacts, etc.
• When transporting goods to/from boats specific fields could be requested by a boat carrier.

Fruit template

• Inside this fruit template specific fields are created for transport of fruit.
  • E.g.: References, Temperature, CMR, etc.
• This is an example of transport of fruit.

Collective template

• Inside this collective template specific fields are created for collective transport.
  • E.g.: Details, Instructions, packaging, etc.
• This is an example of flower/plant-transport. Growers are able to order empty or full carts with plants. This is done with the help of batch-functionality.

Payment assignment template

• Inside this Payment assignment template specific fields are created for payment assignment.
  • E.g.: Payment, etc.
    A more modern styled version will be released soon.

Charge to template

• Inside this charge to template specific fields are created for charging a third party.
  • E.g.: Charge to address details, etc.
  • In this example also specific dangerous goods fields have been added.

Combined template

• Inside this combined template specific fields are created for combined functions of a transport carrier.
  • E.g.: Different ADR fields, stack height, pallet places, etc.

Container template

• Inside this container template specific fields are created for a container transport carrier.
  • E.g.: Preffered pick/delivery time, how to return/park this container, etc.

Container expedition template

• Inside this container expedition template specific fields are created for a container expedition.
  • E.g.: References, return yard, etc.

Container terminal template

• Inside this container template specific fields are created for a container terminal.
• Some documents are required, if not available then demurrage and detention costs could be implied.
• The container desk could assign a shipment to a particulair carrier. This shipment is copied to the cargoOffice of this particulair carrier.
• Status of this shipment could be modified when editing this shipment.

Maintenance template

• Inside this maintenance template specific fields are created for the maintenance system.
  • E.g.: Repair date, repair object, repair description, billing address, etc.
• This is an example of a repair service company. Mechanics are able to digitalise their repair data. Data could be sent by PDA, combined with an electronic signature of the client, that a job is done.
