Find, add or remove partners

1. Click the edit button to show a list of your partners:

2. Click the New button to add new partners:

3. Use the following form to enter either:

• An existing user as partner (recommended)
• An unknown user as partner

Add an 'unknown user' as partner

Use this method if you want to send notifications to somebody who is not a registered user.

1. Give the the partner a Short name and enter his email address, like the example below:

The system needs to know the exact Short name of your partner to be able to find their offers.
So first you need to find your partner from the list of registered users.

1. Use the [Find partner] button to find the user:

2. Next, find your partner by typing (part of) his name and hitting the [Find] button.

3. When found, click the Company code (Short name) to select your partner.

Partner settings

If you don't need to change the settings for the new partner then just hit [Submit] to add the partner to your list of partners.

Below an example of the partner settings form, a description follows.

• Short name
  • Enter a short-name for this partner or keep the chosen company code.
• Specific user
  • Leave blank if you regard the whole company as your partner, otherwise choose a specific user from the company's staff.
  • If you want to add more users of the same company then just add new partners.
• Send notifications
  • Select 'Yes' to send notifications to this partner about new offers your enter into the freight exchange. Please don't forget to enter the partner's email address below.
  • If necessary, enter specific countries you wish to send notifications about (originating and destination countries).
  • Use the search button to find the correct country codes.
  • Please note that as soon as you enter one or more countries here all other countries are excluded.
  • Email address, enter the partner's email address for notifications here.
• Receive notifications
  • Select 'Yes' to receive notifications about new offers this partner enters into the freight exchange.
  • If necessary, enter any specific countries you wish to receive notifications about (originating and destination countries).
  • Please note that as soon as you enter one or more countries here all other countries are excluded.
  • Use the search button to find the correct country codes.
• Miscellaneous
  • Exclude countries
    • If you don't want this partner to see offers in certain countries then enter these countries here.
    • Your partner will not be able to see or receive notifications about any of your offers to or from these countries.
    • Please be aware that your partner will be able to see your offers from the Freecargo Exchange if you decided that your offers may go to the Freecargo Exchange after a certain amount of time.
