Find Freight or Transport offers

1. Go to http://www.freecargo.com

2. Choose continent and country:

- No password yet? choose 'Join' and get a free password, more details here.
- DO NOT APPLY for a password if you are not a transport company, only transport companies are allowed to use Freecargo.
  Click 'Helpdesk' in stead to tell us that you might be interested in a Private Exchange.

3. Choose 'Find Freight' or 'Find Transport' from the main menu:

4. The system shows you the available offers in the selected country. Example:

5. Use the blue buttons to view or edit offers:

• to view the details of an offer.
• to edit an offer (if you are the owner)
• to delete an offer (if you are the owner)
• Click the small (map) symbol next to a city name to show it on the map
• Red offers are recently added offers.
• Exclusive offers are offers for partners only, not available in Freecargo yet

6. The Find transport function is very similar to the Find freight function above.

Detailed search

7. The search bar allows you to narrow down your search to:

• Specific area's or cities
• Specific destinations
• International or domestic
• Specific partners
• Predefined filters

Zoom in and zoom out

8. Use the Map to zoom in on certain area's:

• Click an area on the map to zoom in
• The system will automatically search for offers in that particular area
• Click - zoom out - to zoom out
  
  

Your Network

1. Use the Your Network menu on the left side of the screen to zoom in on your partners:

Explanation:
  - edit -  add or remove partners from your network
  - help -  more information about Partners, Closed User Groups and Private Exchanges
  - freecargo (all) -  view all offers, including those of your partners (the default)
  - yourname (you) -  view your offers only
  - partners (all) -  view partner offers only (the offers from partners you added to your network).
  - a partner -  view offers from that particular partner only

Note: Offers from partners will not be visible if the partnership is not mutual, that is the other party did not enter you as his partner. In that case you will not see his offers until his offers have become 'free cargo', usually after 15 or 30 minutes (for nice companies) but possibly never (closed user groups and private exchanges). So it is best to ask your partners to add you to their network too.
