---+ Dot Codes Content: %TOC{depth="3"}% ---++ Where to find * The dot codes is in your Backoffice -> Dispatch -> Dot codes ---++ General description of dotcodes. Driver codes are mostly used by drivers (or their equipment) during a transport along the logistical chain. These short codes could communicate a specific status of a shipment at that particulair moment.
Driver codes could be configurated according specific wishes of a carrier.
Drivers can use different tools for sending codes, i.e.: sms, smart phones, pda's, mobile data terminals, etc.
Driver codes can trigger specific actions. Note: In some applications driver codes are also named Dot Codes. Note: Inside a defined driver code action, track & trace statuscodes could also be accessed. These statuscodes could trigger actions as well, like sending notifications after receiving certain statuses. (see: ShipmentStatus)

*More documentation will be added soon*

-- Main.RutgerRutgers - 13 Dec 2005
