Freecargo Quick Start

Where to start

1. Go to http://www.freecargo.com
2. And choose your continent:
   
   
   
   
   • No password? choose 'Join' and get a free password, more details here.
   • DO NOT APPLY if you are not a transport company, only transport companies are allowed to use Freecargo.
     But it is possible to start your own freight exchange using the same software.
     
     
     
3. Choose the country of your interest:
   
   
   

Find freight

1. Choose 'Find Freight' from the menu on the right side of the country map:
   
   
   
   
   • The system shows you available freight offers in various parts of the chosen country (click to enlarge):

2. The search bar allows you to narrow down your search to:
   • Specific area's or cities
   • Specific destinations
   • International or domestic
   • Specific partners
   • Predefined filters
     
     
3. Use the blue buttons to view or edit offers:
   • to view the details of an offer.
   • to edit an offer (if you are the owner)
   • to delete an offer (if you are the owner)
   • Click the small (map) symbol next to a city name to show it on the map
   • Red offers are recently added offers.
   • Exclusive offers are offers for partners only, not available in Freecargo yet
     
     
4. The navigation map allows you to quickly select certain areas or countries.
   • Just click the map to navigate and to show the search results.

Find transport

• The find transport function is very similar to the Find freight function described above.
  
• Just choose 'Find Transport' from the menu or tick the 'Transport' selection button on the search bar.
  
  
  
  
  

Post freight

1. Choose 'Post Freight' from the menu.
2. Fill out the form and submit it:
   
   
   Notes
   
   • Marked boxes (*) are required items
   • Use the Tab key to jump to the next field

Post transport

1. Choose 'Post Transport' from the menu.
2. Fill out the form and submit it:
   
   
   Notes
   
   • Marked boxes (*) are required items
   • Use the Tab key to jump to the next field
   • For an overview of just your transport offers, choose 'Your Transports' from the menu.
