---++ Add and modify funcion of customer addresses * With this functionality you are able to: * modify each address. * add new addresses per specified customer. * Company staff can edit customer addresses in: * Backoffice -> Orderentry -> Customer Adresses: clicking the edit button for a particulait address. * Backoffice -> Shipments -> Customer Adresses: clicking the edit button for a particulait address.
* 1. When changing the customer ID a new address is created, from the screen "Overview of all customer addresses" addesses can be deleted.
NOTE: if you give this field value: all ; then this address becomes vissible for all customers. * 2. When changing p into d (or vice-versa) an extra address is created.
In this example, this address is added as p-type and will be available as pickup address.
You should allways mark an address with type 'p' or 'd'.
When you like to use one address for combined use for pick-up and delivery, we have to make some changes inside the orderentry-program, therefore send us a request by using your bugTracking system. In general we then use 'd' as a combined address. * 3. All inserts in addressfields are reset, except for the Address ID. * 4. All fields inside this table can be viewed/installed in: [[ParametersOrderentryTranslation][userEditableAddressFields]].
If you're not sure how to handle this function, contact your Cargo Office dealer or sent us a request by using your Bug Tracking System. * 5. Edit function for all above fields.
Note: when changing the customerID a new address is craeted. * 6. Add new customer address function. (functionality not installed for every CO) * 7. Cancel brings you back to the overview screen of all customer addresses. Note: the above installed addresses can only be checked if you've been logged into the Cargo Office with the customerID of the customer address you want to check. -- Main.RutgerRutgers - 19 Sep 2006
