Cargooffice settings

General description of present cargoOffice settings.

In this documentation settings are explained as are defined in backoffice->CargoOffice settings.
These settings are containing:

Backoffice Settings

• 1. backofficeMenuVersion. We are developing different kinds backoffice menu's, some are available yet. If you are interested ask your supplier for more information or send us a request by using your bug tracking system. If not leave present content as "backoffice".
• 2. maxSubmenuItems. The present backOffice consits of different blocks with numerous menu-items. The amount of menu-items can be regulated with the amount as described in content.
• 3. timeZoneOffset. All time notifications which are used in the cargoOffice software is derived from UTC-time. How much your cargoOffice time differs from UTC time you can regulate in the content of this table. Note: when you are logging in a cargoOffice which has a different time than your local time, a question could pop up if you want to change the current cargoOffice time. Please note this will effect timesettings for all newly inserted shipments.
• All params or table settings can be created per customer.

Frontoffice Settings

At present these settings consists of four items.

1. Company address details

• All address details shown in the left bar(1) can be changed by using this function "Adddress Details"(2).
• To modify your company details, click change (2) and add new details in the edit form (3). Finish your procedure by clicking "update".

2. Frontoffice announcements

• (1) For newly installed cargoOffices an automatic generated welcome announcement is generated. You can't throw away this message, but you can overwrite with something new.
• (2) If you add a new announcement you will be transfered to an edit form (3).
  With the seqNr you can decide where to list your announcement; the lowest number is situated on top.
• After updating your modifications, check if you like the way your announcements are displayed in your frontoffice (4). When you are subscripted to the extra webpage system you are also able to add pictures to your announcements. If not, ask your supplier for more information or sent us a request by using your bugtracking system.
