   * The Transport Guide is a tool to find transport companies.
   * Search options include filters for modality, equipment, hazardous goods etc.
   * The Transport Guide is a free tool from the !FreeCargo community. It tries to help you finding suitable partners.
   * Currently the !FreeCargo community includes more than 15.000 transport companies from all over the world.
   * The most important feature for registered users is the oppurtunity:<br />
      * to build *your own private community* of reliable partners.
      * *to send RFQs* (Request for Quotation) to your community.
---+++ Quick start
   * Type a city name in *FROM* and select the correct city from the list
   * Type a city name in *TO* and select the correct city from the list
   * Click <b>Search<br /></b><br /><b>Note:</b> If the city name is not in the list then select a city nearby.:<br /><br />

---++++ Find a specific company
   * Type (part of) a name in *COMPANY NAME*
   * Be sure that *FROM* and *TO* are blank
   * Click <b>Search<br /><br />Note: </b>If you know the city where the company is located you can type it in *FROM*.

---++++ Advanced search
   * Click *Advanced*
   * Select the *Modalities*, *Equipent* and *Capabilities* you require from a company.
   * Click *Search*

---++++ Send a RFQ (Request for Quotation)

<b>Create additional value: send a RFQ!</b><br /><br />You need to login to send RFQs (Menu-&gt;Login).<br />No login yet? Use the *Register* link at the bottom of the screen (its free).
   * A RFQ sends the company an email asking them to give you a *price* (a quote) for the transport you require.
   * If they give you a quote, then you will receive an email back.

<b>Create your own private communities!<br /></b><br />You need to login (Menu-&gt;Login).<br />No login yet? Use the *Register* link at the bottom of the screen (its free).

If you regularly ask the same people for a quote then you:
   * can add them to your *Contacts list*.
   * or to your *Group* lists and send *multiple RFQs* at the same time.
