Post Freight or Equipment offers
1. Choose
'Post Freight' or
'Post Equipment' from the main menu or from the search tabs.
2. Fill out the
form and submit it:
General form usage to place a Request for Quotation
- Use the [Tab] key to jump from one item to the next.
- Use the arrow icon or calendar icon buttons to select correct data.
Correct data means better matching and a greater chance that someone will be notified about your offer.
- For faster entry you can also use the [Arrow Down] key in stead of the arrow or calendar buttons
Mandatory items ()
- Place of departure (FROM) and destination (TO), fill in city of our choice.
If the automatic address tool gives you multiple options, add the ISO-code of the desired country (AU for Australia, AT for Austria, etc)
- Date available: use the calendar button to select a date or use the arrow button to select either daily, weekly or monthly.
If the offer is available for several days then select a date and enter the number of days in Days avail..
- Goods: enter a brief description of the goods or use the arrow button to select a standard description.
A standard description is recommended for automatic matching.
- Company: the code or name of your company.
- Email: your email address.
Other important items
- Num of stops: enter the number of drop-offs here, the default is 1.
- Req.equipment: select the type of equipment you require.
And any additional equipment:
- Release:
- To partners: Wait for this number of minutes before releasing this offer to your partners.
Individual partners might have an additional (extra) delay which comes on top of the delay you enter here, so most of the time you will use 0 (zero) here.
- Freecargo: Wait for this number of minutes before releasing this offer to other Freecargo users.
Entry of 9999 minutes means that the offer is never given free and is only available to your partners.
Equipment offers
The entry form for equipment offers (trucks, vans, trailers etc) is largly the same as the entry form for freight offers.
